BTS HELPS MAC WIN ANOTHER TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION AWARD


Business Technology Solutions, Inc. assisted multiple departments across the enterprise at the the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) which manages the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport win another innovation award.  This time by the Government Technology publication for their Special Districts Awards programs.  Over 200 nominations were submitted.

Business Technology Solutions, Inc. led the effort to complete and gain overall acceptance of the $6 million Revenue Control System (RCS) for the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.  Partnering with Zeag USA Inc.  to deliver a full complement of Software solutions including a web-based Data Warehouse/Reporting solution, Innovative ePark® (Credit Card In/Out), web-based Count Monitoring System and a number of other features.  Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport generates roughly $55 million in Parking Revenue annually.

BTS HELPS MAC WIN INTERNATIONAL PARKING INSTITUTE AWARD


Business Technology Solutions, Inc. led the effort to complete and gain overall acceptance of the $6 million Revenue Control System (RCS) at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport for the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC).  One portion of this large project was the implementation of ePark® for MAC.  If you haven't used it yet, ePark® is an automated entry/exit and payment system to get you in and out of the airport as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Not only is it a great time saver for the traveler, but it provides greater efficiencies for MAC, achieving over $2 million dollars in savings annually.

INNOVATION AND MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT


The innovation that started at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport in 2003, continues to be a showcase project and success for the airport. A majority of the innovation mentioned in the article below, was either a concept proposed or a solution delivered back in 2003-2004. The implementation of ePark® marked the beginning of the innovation. This was one of the first comprehensive uses of credit card in/out in the industry, saving the airport close to $2+ million annually.  This also improved the customer satisfaction using airport parking.
